2.Winter Wonderland Vikaköngäs Hiking Tour & BBQ

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 10 reviews · from $123Top rated

Set out from Rovaniemi at 10:00 for a guided 4 to 5 km winter walk at Vikaköngäs. Guides such as Mou, Denys, David, Anita, and Isaac lead you through snowy forest, across a bridge and frozen lake, and toward a lookout, followed by a campfire BBQ. Pickup, thermal suits, and crampons are offered.

“Well organised, with hotel pick up, and overalls provided guided walking tour in the snow covered forest. Some fitness level is required to complete the 5 km walk on the icy trucks, but was suitable for my 10, 12 and 15 year olds who truly enjoyed the snowy adventure and campfire BBQ. Our native guide Denys gave us an insight into local forests and traditional ways of lapish people.”
